Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Holly Hunter has won numerous awards and awards, among them an Oscar for her role in the film Piano. She started her career acting as an actress both on Broadway as well as Off Broadway. From the time she was a child, she has been passionate about acting. She was Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school play. Mumps led her to lose hearing in one of her ear canals, but that was not enough to stop the actress from pursuing her dream. As a teenager she studied drama, and then moved into New York City. She met Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated to make Broadway Crimes of the Heart the first movie Hunter made. After moving into Los Angeles she tried to get film roles and bagged a supporting role on Swing Shift. In the three decades since she was a part of the film, Holly Hunter has been featured in a variety of TV shows and movies. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame star and has been awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
